The converter will provide a solution for those users who desire to extend the point of

presence of a copper V.35/X.21/RS-449/RS-530/RS-232 connection at data rates up

to 10 Mbps. It supports remote management of a standalone converter. The converter

uses a universal 26-pin serial interface to allow connections to multiple copper

interfaces via a converter cable.

Transition Networks' analog composite video media transmitters convert CCTV signals

from cameras to multimode or single-mode fiber for up to 10 km. Transition

Networks' analog video media receiver converts the optical signal back to an analog

composite video signal. All conversion is performed in real time. Automatic gain

control installed on both transmitter and receiver maintains desired quality of video's

contrast and brightness for extended distances. No field adjustments are necessary.
